    Why Assemble Electrical

    WHY CHOOSE US

Nine specific reasons Clarence Valley property owners choose Assemble Electrical over a Ballina, Grafton or Gold Coast contractor for the job.

Choosing an electrician isn't like buying a commodity. The difference between a good job and a bad one shows up years later — in switchboards that don't need re-doing, in fittings that don't corrode, in cabling that doesn't cook. Below is exactly what you should expect from us, and what we think sets Assemble Electrical apart from a lot of the alternatives across Yamba, Maclean and the Clarence Valley.

    1. LOCALLY BASED IN THE CLARENCE VALLEY

We live and work here. That means no 1–2 hour travel each way charged to your invoice, no waiting weeks for a contractor from Ballina or the Gold Coast to fit you in, and — importantly — easy aftercare if something needs to be looked at again.

    2. LEVEL 2 ASP IN-HOUSE

Most electricians in the region have to subcontract Level 2 network-side work — consumer mains, meter upgrades, service lines, private poles. We're Level 2 accredited internally, which means the internal switchboard and the mains-side upgrade happen in one visit, with one certificate, one crew and one bill.

    3. WRITTEN, FIXED-PRICE QUOTES

Before we start any significant job you get a written quote with a fixed price. No "time and materials" surprises unless the job legitimately can't be scoped up-front (some fault-finding jobs), in which case we tell you clearly and cap it.

    4. COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE ON EVERY JOB

Every completed job in NSW is required by law to be accompanied by a Certificate of Compliant Electrical Work (CCEW). We issue one for every job, every time — not just the big ones. That's your legal record, your insurance record, and your proof the work was done to AS/NZS 3000 standard.

    5. FULL SCOPE — RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, SECURITY, LEVEL 2

Powerpoints and light fittings, full home rewires, switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, CCTV and alarms, commercial fit-outs, three-phase to rural sheds, private poles, meter installs — one contact for the lot rather than juggling three separate trades.

    6. WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY

We stand behind our workmanship. See our Warranty & Guarantees page for specifics.

    7. FULLY INSURED

Public liability insurance and workers' compensation as required by NSW law. See Insurance & Safety for details.

    8. AFTER-HOURS EMERGENCY RESPONSE

For safety-critical faults — burning smells, sparks, partial outages, storm damage — call 0404 403 563 any time. If we can't get to you the same night we tell you honestly and refer you on.

    9. HONEST ADVICE

Sometimes the honest answer is "you don't need to spend that." We say so. We'd rather build a long-term local relationship than upsell you on something you don't need — that's a big part of why our repeat and referral business is what it is.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED

    How is your pricing structured?

For most jobs we quote a fixed price up-front after either a site visit or a clear photo and description. For diagnostic fault-finding we work hourly with a cap you agree to before we start.

    Do you charge for quotes?

Site visits for standard residential and commercial quotes in the Clarence Valley are free. For lengthy site inspections or reports we may quote a small fee, disclosed up front.

Will I be charged for travel time within the Clarence Valley?

No. Travel within our core Clarence Valley service area (Yamba, Maclean, Iluka, Angourie, Gulmarrad, Townsend, Harwood, Woombah, Palmers Island) is included.

Do you offer emergency response outside business hours?

Yes. Call 0404 403 563 any time for genuine emergencies — burning smells, sparks, partial outages, storm damage.
