    WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY

Assemble Electrical warrants the workmanship on every completed job against defects arising from installation error. If anything we've installed fails within the warranty period due to how we did the work — a loose termination, an incorrect connection, a wrong protective device — we come back and fix it at no charge, including labour and travel.

Our standard workmanship warranty is a minimum of 12 months from the date of the CCEW being issued. For larger installations (switchboards, mains, sub-mains) we provide longer coverage on request and detail it on the written quote.

    MANUFACTURER PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Anything we install — switches, powerpoints, RCBOs, switchboards, EV chargers, cameras, alarms, solar inverters, batteries — carries the manufacturer's own product warranty, and we pass that warranty through to you in full. Typical product warranties in the industry range from 2 years (basic accessories) to 10+ years (inverters, some batteries). Serial numbers and installation dates are recorded on the CCEW so warranty claims are straightforward.

    STATUTORY RIGHTS PRESERVED

Nothing in our warranty limits or replaces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or the NSW Home Building Act as applicable. Where either provides longer or broader coverage than our workmanship warranty, the statutory position applies.

    MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

If something isn't right after we've completed a job, contact us as soon as you notice it — phone 0404 403 563 or email tristan@assembleelectrical.com.au. Include your address, the approximate date of the original job, and a description or photo of the issue. We'll respond within one business day and — where the issue is safety-critical — attend as an emergency.

    WHAT'S EXCLUDED

Our workmanship warranty covers defects in our installation work. It does not cover:

    • Damage caused by third parties, subsequent alterations, or storm/lightning events unrelated to the installation.
    • Product failure covered by the manufacturer's warranty (claim direct with the manufacturer with our help).
    • Wear-and-tear items — lamps, batteries, consumables.
    • Damage caused by misuse (overloading circuits, tampering, unauthorised alteration).

Owner-editable content: specific warranty durations for individual product categories (e.g. switchboards, EV chargers, CCTV) and any extended warranty options will be displayed here as provided by the business owner. Written warranty terms accompany every completed job. Contact tristan@assembleelectrical.com.au to update.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED

What does 'workmanship warranty' actually cover?

It covers defects in how we installed the work — for example a loose termination, an incorrectly sized protective device, or a fitting that fails because it wasn't installed to spec. It does not cover product failure (covered by manufacturer) or subsequent damage.

How long is your workmanship warranty?

A minimum of 12 months from the date of the Certificate of Compliant Electrical Work (CCEW). Longer terms are available on larger installations and are stated on the written quote.

What about the products you install?

All installed products carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which we pass through in full to you. We keep records of serial numbers and installation dates to make claims straightforward.

Do I need to pay a call-out fee for warranty work?

No. Warranty work — labour, travel and materials required to correct an installation defect — is at no charge to you.

How do I make a claim?

Phone 0404 403 563 or email tristan@assembleelectrical.com.au with your address, approximate original job date, and a description or photo of the issue.
