Note on scope
We are not solar retailers. We don't sell panels or push a particular inverter brand. What we do is the electrical work around solar — the parts of the system that fail, need upgrading, or need to interconnect with the rest of the home.
Switchboard prep before solar
Many older Clarence Valley switchboards can't accept a modern solar inverter without exceeding the connection point rating. We upgrade the board with the correct main switch, solar breaker and RCD arrangement before the solar installer attends — often saving a return visit.
DC isolator failures
Rooftop DC isolators from certain brands have well-documented failure modes. Water ingress, corrosion and internal arcing cause inverter isolation faults and, in worst cases, roof fires. We replace failed or non-compliant isolators with sealed IP66 units.
Battery-ready wiring
If a battery is on the roadmap but not the immediate plan, wiring the switchboard and reserving space for a battery inverter now saves significant cost later. We spec the install so a Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow, BYD or similar battery can drop in.

No — we don't retail panels. We do all the electrical work around solar, which panel installers frequently outsource anyway.
