NEW HOME ELECTRICAL
Full electrical fit-outs for new homes across Yamba, Angourie, Maclean and the Clarence Valley — from slab-through to certificate of occupancy.
The electrical you put into a new home is the electrical you'll live with for 30 years. Points in the wrong spot, undersized data, ceiling roses where downlights should be, and switchboards with no room to grow are all fixable — but not cheaply once the plaster is on.
Assemble Electrical works with owner-builders, private builders and homeowners across the Clarence Valley to plan and wire new homes properly the first time. We do the walk-through before rough-in, mark points on the frame with you, and stage the work so no other trade is waiting on us.

A NEW HOME BUILT ELECTRICALLY RIGHT
Planning before rough-in
We walk the framed house with you, torch and marker in hand. Every downlight, GPO, TV point, data point, switch and external light gets marked on the studs before a single cable is run. This 30-minute walk-through is the single biggest reason our new builds don't need "just one more point" later.
Sizing for the future
A modern Yamba home should be wired for what it'll need in 15 years, not what it needs today. That means: a switchboard with spare ways, a consumer mains cable sized for solar and battery, sub-main to the garage for an EV charger, and Cat6 to every bedroom and living area. It's cheap now and expensive later.
Coastal detailing
For coastal builds at Yamba, Angourie and Iluka we specify marine-grade external GPOs, stainless-fixed floodlights, and IP66 fittings anywhere within salt-spray range. Downlights near coastal ceilings get sealed IC-F rated fittings.
Certification and handover
You get full certification: Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, notice of completion, and an as-installed circuit schedule stuck inside the switchboard door. Everything your insurer, valuer, or future electrician needs is there in the switchboard.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you work with owner-builders?
Yes — regularly. We're happy to explain choices and price options so you can make informed calls on where to spend and where to save.
When should I get you involved?
As early as possible — ideally before the slab, so consumer mains and underground conduits can go in cleanly.
Can you handle the network-side connection?
Yes. Our Level 2 accreditation means the point of attachment, service line, and metering are all done in-house.
Do you do lighting design?
We offer a practical lighting layout as part of every new home — layered general, task and feature lighting rather than the usual grid of downlights.
